Energetically Responsible Economics

In a world deeply marked by economic inequalities and the relentless pursuit of profit, there emerges a need to challenge the status quo – enter Energetically Responsible and Non-Extractive Economics.

This approach aims to transform the way we perceive and engage in economic activities by exploring the realms of intrinsic and extrinsic value, the collective unconscious as applied to group think, energetic resource management, & trade as reinforcement of equity.

We need an approach to economics that delves beyond the surface, examining the intrinsic value of resources rather than merely their extrinsic market worth. We need to recognize that the value of something goes beyond its price tag – this is rooted in the understanding that the true worth of goods and services lies in their contribution to individual well-being and collective harmony.

In the realm of energetic economics, the collective unconscious takes center stage. It acknowledges that our shared thoughts and beliefs influence collective economic decisions. By fostering awareness and encouraging conscious choices, and with so much conversation recently on the concepts of Divestment and Boycott, this approach aims to shift group think toward the collective that values equitable distribution, sustainability, & the well-being of all. This way of interacting is possible, but we have to think differently. Our aims must be higher than the least common denominator.

Imagine resources as energetic entities, pulling from an innate animistic knowing, with each resource carrying a unique vibration. The idea of non-extractive economics proposes a stewardship approach, where managing resources becomes a delicate dance with the energies they embody. It's about respecting the intrinsic value of these beings, understanding their collective impact, & ensuring their sustainable use for the benefit of the entire community. This is seen clearly in the newly remembered approach to Herbalism made standard in recent years. This concept is seen clearly with the approach of only taking upwards of 1/3 of a harvestable plant. We must sustain the resource as it sustains us.

Additionally within this economic model, the use of trade or barter becomes a vehicle for reinforcing equity. These practices transcend notions of winners and losers, focusing on fair and balanced exchanges that contribute to the well-being of all parties involved. This trade system is grounded in the recognition that when resources circulate harmoniously, the collective energy of the community thrives.

As we direct our intentions toward acknowledging our interconnectedness, a harmonious economic ecosystem emerges. This is a call to transcend traditional economic thinking, to embrace a more holistic approach that not only values resources for their external expression but also for the intrinsic energies they bring to our collective well-being. Through these principles, we can embark on a journey toward a more equitable, conscious, & balanced landscape, where the energies of resources and communities come together in shared prosperity. It is possible. We must choose differently.
